About Us
Debt Doctors was founded in 1966 by President Norm Neiburger to help people get out of debt faster than they would on their own using techniques that he developed.
Debt Doctors is licensed by the State of Indiana, being one of the first credit counseling agencies in the country that was licensed.
Norm Neiburger was elected president of the American Association of Credit Counselors and was also elected to the first Board of Directors of the Association of Independent Consumer Credit Counseling Agencies. He was given the designation of Certified Financial Counseling Executive by the International Credit Association.
Debt Doctors has always been first in service for people in debt.
